Cody, Bud and Todd count them into the branding trap

D.K. ‘Doc’ Seaman – Owner – OH Ranch Ltd.
Doc Seaman, chairman and president of DOX Investments Inc., purchased the OH Ranch in 1987. Born in Rouleau, Saskatchewan in 1922, Doc attended the University of Saskatchewan where he earned his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Serving as an R.C.A.F. Flying Officer from 1941 to 1945, Doc was decorated before returning to Calgary where he founded Bow Valley Industries, a successful international oil and gas company which he ran until 1992, when he retired as Chairman of the Board. Doc is a director of numerous public companies, an Officer of the Order of Canada, a part-owner of the Calgary Flames Hockey Club and an owner of the Valley Cattle Company.

Don Blackett – Director – OH Ranch Ltd.

Bud Maynard – Manager – OH Ranch Ltd.
Bud was born and raised on a small farm and ranch operation in Cluny, Alberta which maintained a herd of 180 cows. He attended Olds College for three semesters before marrying Brenda in 1972. Bud rodeoed professionally for a few years, mostly rough stock and steer wresting, until he and Brenda purchased the family ranch in 1975. In the fall of 1988, Bud joined the OH Ranch as Ranch Manager. Bud is responsible for overseeing all operations and divisions of the OH Ranch from the Main Headquarters at Longview, where he resides with Brenda and their children Melissa and T.J.

Brenda Maynard – Administrator – OH Ranch Ltd.
Brenda was born and raised in Bassano, Alberta and attended Mount Royal College for one year of nursing. She began her career in administration when she and Bud took over the Maynard Family ranch in 1975. She joined the OH Ranch in the fall of 1988, where she is responsible for the administration of the ranch.

Lynn & Sally Ferguson – OH Longview
Originally from the Taber, Alberta area, Lynn and Sally joined the OH in April, 1995. As well as running their own ranch near Taber, Lynn has also had successful careers in the rodeo arena and as an auctioneer. Lynn and Sally have two grown children, Shane & Julie.

Robert & Joanne Hoff – Foreman – OH Dorothy
Robert was born in Alberta in 1955 and attended Olds College from 1975 to 1977 when he graduated in Production Technology. After a successful rodeo career, during which he won the All-Around Championship at the Calgary Stampede, he began work at the Currie Cattle Company in Buffalo, Alberta. He worked for the Tajiri Operation in Rolling Hills, the Takeda Feeding Company and the Bow Valley Veterinary Clinic in Brooks before joining the OH Operation in April of 1993. Robert is the Foreman at OH Dorothy, where he resides with his wife Joanne and their four children Jordan, Christie, Lindsay and Chelsea.

Cody Veilleux – Foreman – OH Bassano
Cody spent time in the beautiful valley where the OH headquarters is located, so it was a comfortable move to join the outfit. Cody took over as Foreman of the OH Bassano operations in March of 2000. Cody was born in High River and raised in the nearby Turner Valley area. He spent some time in the rodeo arena involved in Saddle Bronc, Calf Roping and Team Roping. Cody and his wife, Tracey, along with their daughter, Taylor & son, Casey, reside at the OH Bassano ranch.

Todd Snodgrass – Foreman – OH Pekisko
Todd is in familiar country, having been born and raised in nearby High River. Todd ventured to LCC to obtain his Diploma in Agriculture Production. In his spare time, he enjoys roping, fishing and golfing. Todd and his wife, Tricia, along with their son, Tate & daughter, Kaylin, have settled at the OH Pekisko ranch just south of the main headquarters at Longview. Todd took over as Foreman of the area in March of 2001.
